Angel Suncatcher
An angel-shaped suncatcher in warm red and amber resin, with outstretched wings rising up to a halo, set into a soldered metal frame for a stained-glass effect. The figure reads beautifully against the light: hung in a sunny window, the warm tones glow richly, and the simple silhouette stands out clearly from across the room.
The angel motif has obvious symbolic weight as an image of protection, comfort, and remembrance, which makes this a meaningful gift in a way few decorative pieces are. It works particularly well as a sympathy gift, a memorial keepsake for someone who has lost a loved one, or a thoughtful present at Christmas, christenings, or confirmations.
That said, the design is also simply a striking piece of stained-glass-effect window decor — the warm colour palette and clean lines work well as everyday décor in any home, with or without religious context.

Good to know
Where should I hang it?
A window that gets direct sunlight for at least part of the day — south or west-facing works best. When sun comes through, the coloured resin glows like stained glass and casts soft pools of colour into the room. In indirect light it still looks lovely, just without the lit-from-behind effect.
How do I hang it?
A small cup hook screwed into the top of the window frame is the neatest option. A suction cup hook works well if you don't want to make holes, though they can lose grip on cold glass in winter. The metal ring slips over either.
Will it spin?
Yes, gently — air movement around a window is usually enough to set it turning slowly, so the colours shift across the room as it moves. It's not designed for outdoor use where stronger wind would tangle the cord.
Can I hang it outside?
We'd keep it indoors. The resin and wire are reasonably hardy, but prolonged UV will eventually fade the colours and weather will dull the soldered seams. A porch, conservatory or covered window is a sensible middle ground.
What's the difference vs the ones on Amazon?
Look closely at the wire work — ours are properly soldered with even seams, not glued. The resin is poured cleanly into each section without bubbles or shrinkage at the edges. Cheap imports tend to use thinner wire that bends out of true, and the colours fade noticeably within a year or two even indoors.
