Hang one in a sunny window and wait. When the right kind of light hits the glass, rainbows will scatter across the wall, the ceiling, the cat. It's a small bit of magic for not very much money.
Where to hang them
Any window with a few hours of direct sun will do, but they also work well in conservatories, porches, garden sheds with a glazed door, and over a desk where a lamp can stand in for sunlight on grey days. Most have a small string loop for easy hanging.
